The Point 1600 incorporates a 10.4" SVGA color display. The 10.4" DSTN color display, 166 MHz processor and integrated communications features make it ideal for decision support across a wide range of applications that demand SVGA (800x600) resolution, particularly Healthcare.

There is a simple reason why an SVGA display is critical in so many environments. Applications are always designed to take advantage of the same screen resolution — and provide complete compatibility — across desktop systems, laptops and pen tablets. This minimizes configuration difficulties, training issues, etc., which in turn reduces cost. Additionally, SVGA resolution allows significantly more information to fit on the screen at any one time than does VGA; this is an additional and highly desirable benefit in terms of maximizing usability.
