Fujitsu PenCentra 200, a Microsoft Windows CE-based handheld pen tablet designed specifically for mobile workers in field applications.

The PenCentra 200 is designed specifically for working people. With its lightweight, long battery life, comfortable design and ease of use, it is ideal for a wide variety of vertical applications including field services, route sales, home healthcare and merchandising.

Small and powerful, with choice of display technologies

Weighing just two pounds, the PenCentra 200 is packed with performance, productivity and convenience features. It is powered by a 129MHz Toshiba TX3922 MIPS RISC processor and provides 32MB RAM standard, upgradeable to 64MB, and 16MB of non-volatile flash memory for user storage. The Windows CE 2.11 operating system and installed software are resident on 24MB of ROM.

The 8” diagonal display is available in two versions: a front lit color reflective SSTN VGA display with a liquid filled digitizer for enhanced viewability in bright sun, or a bright, backlit color Transmissive DSTN VGA display that is designed for indoor use such as health care and merchandising.

The comprehensive software bundled with the PenCentra 200 provides tools needed to boost productivity including CalliGrapher® handwriting recognizer, Java EVM™ and hotpad application launcher in addition to standard Microsoft Pocket Office® applications.

Made for extensive, hand held use, the PenCentra 200 has rubberized handgrips, evenly distributed weight, convenient port placements, and a full-size pen that’s comfortable to hold for long periods of time. With its Lithium ion battery, the PenCentra 200 provides up to 10 hours of battery life for all-work day use. The system offers two Type II PC Card slots and is available with an exceptionally wide range of accessories designed to meet the needs of vertical market applications.
